Starship.rs
Starship.rs is a cross-shell prompt. Written in Rust, it is both performant and works on all of the large operating systems. This works great for my workflows, as I often work in Windows, MacOS and Linux. I can configure the prompt look and feel once, and then use it everywhere that I work. This workflow is held together with the help of [[chezmoi dotfile management|chezmoi]].
My configuration includes a custom check for yarn vs npm in my JavaScript / Typescript repos including the version of node.js as well. check out my streams on YouTube to see what this looks like.
